At Bridgewater Security, our commitment to protecting the people of Salford goes beyond providing exceptional security services — it extends into the heart of the community we serve. Each year, we proudly host a series of charity events aimed at raising funds and awareness for local causes as well as supporting individuals and families in need throughout Salford.

Easter Charity Event 2025

Our most recent charity event held on Friday 11th April 2025 was for Easter. With the help of our donations, we were able to distribute nearly 1000 Easter eggs as well as supply charities with kitchen and bathroom essentials.

Our annual charity events have become part of our company, we believe that real security starts with strong community ties. Our first ever charity event was around Christmas time in 2023 and each event thereafter has grew not only in sponsors and donations but in awareness throughout the community too.

More people are hearing about our mission and want to get involved. Our team wants to reach as many people as possible and ensure that every penny goes where it’s needed most — right here in our own backyard.

Our mission started back in 2023 following a white collar charity boxing show in which Jon Mastin, who is heavily involved in Bridgewater Boxing Gym, fought.

He said : “I did it to raise money for my friend, and two brothers from the Mullen family who sadly lost their lives to cancer.

“Cancer was a big thing for us to raise money for, but we had some left over - myself and John Mullen had a sit down one day and agreed to do something for families in Salford.

Our first ever event gave away toys and selection boxes to families as well as food, sanitary packs and kitchen equipment.”

As the events have grown, we have got to know between 20-25 charities and been able to support them however the success of our charity events wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of all of our sponsors.

Thank you to all the sponsors involved including : Urbanregen, Salboy, Hyundai, Tesco, Sign and Display, Tace, Daisymill, Parkers, MWT, JLM, Cosaf, Lord Long, Bridgestone Construction, SE Mec, M&R, Riverside, MWA, Domis, Betfred, Mcgoff, Jackwolf, Turnkey, Cerberus Group, Regency Factors, Lee McCarren, Global QA, Domis Construction and many more.

Together, we’ve raised thousands of pounds over the years — and we’re just getting started.
